UDOT announced it will start the US-40 Pavement Preservation project as soon as March 15 and planned completion date is in June 2023.

For travelers between Roosevelt and Vernal, that means from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, work crews will be out on the road.

UDOT also announced it will begin repaving State Route 121 between Main Street and Hancock Cove Road around April 10. Work will be performed Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Expected completion date on this project is June 2023.

For your safety and theirs, slow down and use caution when driving through the construction zone(s).

What to expect at both construction sites:

Lane closures, one-way flagging operations and reduced speeds

Moderate travel delays

Loose gravel on the road

Increased noise, dust and vibrations
