Jackie Jordan

Jacqueline Louisa Gladue Jordan, age 85, died Jan. 18, 2023, in Roosevelt Utah.

Born Sept. 19, 1937, in Providence, Rhode Island, to Henry Harvey Gladue and Mabel Rosa. Married to Ray Armstrong Jordan, June 7, 1960, in the Salt Lake Temple.

She served in different organizations in the church, but primarily she was a Relief Society teacher for over 45 years. She loved sharing her testimony of Jesus Christ and His restored gospel with everyone. She and her husband served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to Ireland. She enjoyed a good mystery story, painting, growing flowers, and singing. She often encouraged optimistic thinking by the songs she sang. Her greatest passions were genealogy, temple work, and compassionate service.

She will be missed by all who knew her for her example of Christ like love. She had no biases and loved all. Her husband, children and grandchildren adored her.

She is survived by husband Ray Armstrong Jordan; children, Mrs. Jane Wilkerson (Bruce) of Lockbourne, Ohio; James G. Jordan (Janet) of Salt Lake City, Utah; Mrs. Julie Jones (Barton) of Duchesne, Utah; Aaron A.
