DWR Viewing Event
Winter is a wonderful time to view on of the largest rodents in the state, the porcupine. The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources is partnering with the Ouray National Wildlife Refuge to host an event giving the opportunity to view the animal.

Jenna Draper visited with officials about creating an inland port designated area. This would allow for tax revenue to be used to increase infrastructure needs throughout the county. Economic Development Update
The USDA has two grants that are being worked on with the Forest Service and Moonlake Resort, one being a predevelopment program grant and the other is a search grant. Those are to help with the water supply in the event of water drying up or a disaster.
