Union’s Jaylie Jenkins and River White have been the best duo in Class 3A state cross country.It was only fitting the individual state race was a photo finish between the two teammates at Sugar House Park.Jenkins won her first cross country championship by crossing the finish line with a time of 17 minutes and 48 seconds.74 seconds.White was timed at 17:48.83.It was the tightest finish of all the state meets.“It was a really close,” Jenkins said.
