The Vernal American Legion Auxiliary Unit 0011 and the American Legion Post 0011 would like to let the community know we are making plans to open a year round Basin wide Veteran/families Food Pantry.

We will be serving both Uintah and Duchesne Counties. Our opening date is set for the first week of January.

As we begin our journey we would like to ask the community to join us by helping with non perishable donations. As we get closer to the final steps, we will share more information.

Currently we have several locations throughout the basin, where food donations can be dropped off.

We are excited to be taking these steps to help our local Veterans have this service.

At this time we would also like to share that we planning on offering meals for Veterans for Christmas. If you are a Veteran that could benefit from receiving the foods to prepare a dinner please contact us. If you know of a Veteran family that you feel could use help with this we ask you to contact us so we can get started on these preparations.
