The Bedrock Skate and Play has recently shared some updates about progress on upcoming additions to the Vernal roller skating rink. The skating rink was first announced on April 1, 2024 located behind the Zions Bank, in the oak house building, on 90 South.

The hope is to have it open in the next month after getting approved plans for some additions. Adding a full bathroom and expanding on another one as well as adding a hallway to the back back emergency exit, as stated in a previous update back in January.

This is going to be an amazing addition to the Vernal area. This will be such a fun family activity to enjoy all year round. Once it opens there is no doubt it will be an instant hit and a go to spot for everyone to have a great time.

It will be wonderful to see a skating rink coming back to downtown Vernal. With the downtown projects the town is only growing adding many new activities for everyone to enjoy year round for years to come.

“We got the approved plans for the additions. The plumber and electrician have came by and will start the process on their end. Hopefully three weeks,” The Bedrock Skate and Play shared to their Facebook page.
