July 1, 1941 to February 26, 2023

Jo Ellen Gee Dulen, age 81, of Arcadia, Utah, died on Feb. 26, 2023, at the University of Utah Hospital.

Jo was born July 1, 1941, in Marietta, Texas, to A.C. and Margaret Wise Gee. She married Elmer Onslo Dulen, they later divorced.

Jo grew up in Texas and settled many years ago in the Uintah Basin. She enjoyed watching the Utah Jazz.  She was a real “spit fire” who loved her family more than anything, she was an awesome mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and even mom to others. She delighted in attending sport events that her children and grandchildren were doing.

She is survived by her children, Dalton Earl Dulen, Bill Dawayne Dulen, Donald Ray (Tawny) Dulen; five grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her son, Joe Max Dulen; grandson, Marshall Dulen; her parents; sibling, Kathy Bray, Eddie Gee, Ronnie Gee, and infant sister, Marilyn Kay Gee.

Services were on Friday, March 3, 2023, at the Hullinger Mortuary.

Burial in the Roosevelt Memorial Park.
